I am a very busy hair stylist and it was of vital importance that I hire a reliable interior designer during the build-out of my salon. When I met Monica Pleshek, I immediately knew that we had a connection and it was mostly due to her passion for detail that I felt when interviewing her. 

My hope was that Monica would be involved in every aspect of the build-out. Communication between Monica and the general contractor were necessary to stay on top of the multiple projects involved with completion of each phase in a timely manner along with staying within budget. All of this was vital!

Monica met all of my expectations and she was a team player who worked extremely well with all of the vendors. It was quite evident that she clearly understood my taste and shared my vision for the salon. 

During the build-out process, Monica worked very hard and she displayed honesty and was trustworthy and never made a promise that she did not keep. She went above and beyond to help me dress up a basic column in my salon and actually implemented a whitewash on faux brick veneer for my wall. Quite often I found her on a ladder working non-stop to complete the wash in order to obtain the desired look. She also provided a 3D model rendering which helped me see the project from start to finish. 

I truly believe that no project would be too large for Monica to tackle and she exhibited exemplary organizational and management skills with every phase of the salon build-out. She has impeccable taste and a great eye for detail.

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my first ever interior design project and to make it even more special it was for my cousin, Monica. Monica did an absolutely phenomenal job designing the Glamour Lounge Salon. As soon as you walk in you are instantly transported from West Melbourne, FL to the swankiest salon on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA. I found my eyes were completely infatuated with all of the fine finishes. They spared not even the smallest of details.

Monica has and is currently bringing her many talents to several of my architectural design projects. She has taught me the value of a having someone skilled in the design of interior spaces with her best contribution to the project: having the ability to work closely with the client bringing their ideas to fruition. I discovered that good design is not only just materials selection and coordination, but also the very helpful task of working directly with material suppliers and installers; from flooring systems to lighting effects, to achieve the final desired results.

In addition to her creativity, Monica is very detailed-oriented and willing to go that extra mile to make sure the client is pleased with the final appearance. Monica has an absolutely delightful personality and is very professional; yet, not afraid to get her hands dirty working side-by-side with the installers to make sure things are done right. Monica not only has the ability to work directly with me through AutoCAD; but, also has the ability to create photo-realistic 3D renderings for conveyance of ideas to both the client as well as to me. Monica takes the time to learn as much as possible about the construction behind the finishes in order to not only do her job well and serve the client, but also to help keep construction costs and potential delays in check. Her many skills are a valuable asset to any architect.
